  14. I recently bought a 540MB Seagate (ST3655N) and installed it
  15. in my A3000 (SCSI chip v04).
  16.  
  17. I put it on the end of the SCSI-cable and the old 52MB Quantum
  18. in between (male-to-female converter SCSI cable needed).
  19.  
  20. My problem is that the Seagate disk is VERY slow and unstable!
  21. Both under 2.04 and softbooted 3.1
  22. I get checksum errors and other bad messages.
  23. It took over 5 hours to run disksalv on a 379MB partition!
  24. It worked fine on another A3000.
  25. I tested it with diskspeed and got 90kb/s reading and 23kb/s
  26. writing!!! Almost diskdrivespeeds....

  28. Could this be a termination problem? What termination should
  29. I remove?
